Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years of age to create a member account. Founding Pillar business accounts require the account holder to be 18 or older and authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the business. By using OCSS, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Member accounts are free. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. OCSS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your account and any Movement Points, stamps, or vouchers associated with it are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the platform.

Movement Points are earned by scanning Founding Pillar QR codes and by verified receipt uploads. Points have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.

Points may be redeemed for discount vouchers at the rates published on the Redeem page ($5, $10, $25, or $50 off). Redemptions are final and non-reversible.

Vouchers expire 90 days after issue, are single-use, and can only be applied at participating Founding Pillar locations. OCSS reserves the right to modify point values, expiry rules, and redemption rates with 30 days notice.

You may upload receipts from Founding Pillar purchases to earn bonus Movement Points. You agree to upload only genuine receipts from actual purchases you made. Submitting fraudulent, edited, or duplicate receipts is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all points.

Receipt verification is performed by automated AI systems. OCSS decisions on receipt approval or rejection are final. Approved points may be reversed if fraud is later detected.

The Local Passport system issues one unique stamp per Founding Pillar per member. Stamps are awarded when you check in using the OCSS QR scan system. Stamps are non-transferable and tied to your account.

OCSS does not guarantee the availability of any specific number of Founding Pillars or passport checkpoints. The stamp count required for a complete passport may change as the Founding Pillars network grows.

Founding Pillars (businesses) are subject to separate terms agreed to at enrollment. Key points:

• The subscription fee ($50/mo or $480/yr) is due at the start of each billing period
• Monthly plans may be cancelled with 30 days written notice
• Annual plans are non-refundable after 14 days from initial payment
• Founding Pillars must honor valid member vouchers presented by OCSS members
• OCSS may suspend or remove a Founding Pillar profile for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or failure to pay fees
• Founding Pillars may not manipulate check-in data, award fraudulent points, or misuse member data shared with them

Founding Pillars are responsible for verifying voucher codes through the OCSS merchant portal before applying any discount. OCSS is not responsible for discounts applied without verification. Once a voucher is marked as redeemed in the system, it cannot be reused regardless of whether the discount was actually applied.

You agree not to:

• Create fake check-ins or submit fraudulent receipts
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the QR code system
• Share, sell, or transfer your account or points to others
• Harass, spam, or abuse other members or Founding Pillars
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of all points and stamps, and potential legal action.

All content on the OCSS platform, including the name, logo, design, text, and code, is owned by OC Social Synergy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By submitting content (profile photos, business descriptions, etc.), you grant OCSS a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. OCSS does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or the continued availability of any feature.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OCSS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of points, stamps, or rewards due to technical issues.

OCSS's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to OCSS in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon deletion, your points, stamps, and vouchers are permanently removed.

OCSS may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Founding Pillar subscription fees already paid are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
